Tara S. Goodman, M.P.H.

Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships

Ms. Goodman is a Senior Director of Business Development at MCRA with approximately 15+ years of sales and business development clinical leadership experience working for multinational companies such as PAREXEL International, INC Research, MPI Research and Charles River Laboratories.

A seasoned professional in the CRO/pharma realm spanning the entire drug discovery continuum from early discovery to post market approval. She has expert knowledge of BARDA, GLP, GCP, IND and NDA requirements with specialty therapeutic focus on vaccination studies, oncology, and CNS. She is a self-motivated results-oriented professional with strategic alliance management experience, complex relationships with multiple decision makers and stakeholders, building internal support and on point messaging, client focused partnerships to consistently deliver improved productivity and increased profitability. Ms. Goodman has been instrumental in fostering relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies with complementary development pipelines to secure new business opportunities with clients.

Most recently with PAREXEL International, Ms. Goodman played a global role leading an enterprise-wide strategic partnership account, responsibilities included operations, sales, quality, and delivery. When working for clients, she provides strategic and logistical direction in all client activities to ensure the relationship in leveraging all capabilities and service offerings. As such, she has surpassed 2016 full-year target of $255 million of which $150 million in new business. She regularly traveled with her team to provide executive level support and advisory services to clients globally. Formerly, while at INC Research, she has successfully planned and implemented objectives of the sales action plan, budgeting of time and resources, communicating and leading operational staff to achieve goals of $30 million per client.

Comfortable working with all levels of a client organization, Ms. Goodman owns the sales process and bid pursuits while applying best practices, including identifying the appropriate bid defense team, prepare and lead the sales presentation, educate team participants in client culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques.

Ms. Goodman is a member of the New York BIO and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), NJ BIO as part of a planning committee, and a council member of the American Association for Laboratory Science (AALAS).

Ms. Goodman received her Master of Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health/Emory University and a BA in Psychology and Pre-Medicine from Emory University.



Keith Tode, MBA

Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships

Mr. Tode is a global executive with approximately 20 years of experience working for multinational companies such as Thomson Reuters, PAREXEL International, Citigroup Global Markets and John Hancock Direct Foreign Operations. He holds a MBA (International Finance) from Norwich University and a BA in Political Science (Chinese Foreign Affairs concentration) from the University of New Hampshire, and has expatriate experience living in the People’s Republic of China. A seasoned professional with broad experience in business development, corporate strategy and regulatory compliance in the medical device, pharmaceutical and financial services market sectors, Mr. Tode has been instrumental in the execution of market entry, product development and regulatory strategies throughout the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.

While at PAREXEL International and Thomson Reuters, Mr. Tode developed and managed Fortune 100 Client relationships in over 30 countries assisting each with strategic compliance, regulatory affairs and global commercialization projects. Most recently with Thomson Reuters, he acted as Executive Sponsor for Thomson Reuters IP & Science’s top 12 clients, and managed the strategic relationship and business development activities with a multinational team of sales executives and subject matter experts. He regularly traveled with his team to provide executive level support and advisory services to clients globally, with most of his most recent work being conducted in the Netherlands, India, Southeast Asia and China. Comfortable working with all levels of a client organization, he is known for his ability to develop relationships and partnerships within the C-Suite and entrench himself as a trusted advisor.

Mr. Tode resides North of Boston with his wife of 17 years and ten-year-old daughter.
