Yumi Yamamoto

Yumi has over 15 years of experience in project management across many fields. She attended university in the United States, where she studied Psychology. After graduation, Yumi moved back to Tokyo where she began her career as a legal assistant at a patent law office. For 8 years, she specialized in problem-solving and the coordination of inbound patent projects, mainly in the technical fields of biology and chemistry. She then transitioned through several different industries before joining the founding team of a medical device startup developing a high-resolution laparoscopy system. During this time, she was involved in day-to-day operations, including R&D, intellectual property administration, market launch planning, sales/marketing and post-acquisition integration of internal processes. Yumi joined Vorpal in 2020 and currently plays a leading role in developing best practices for project management and client engagement. She currently oversees business development and leads the Project Management team at MCRA Japan. Her hobbies are traveling and pottery.
